About the Personio Foundation

Personio Foundation is a philanthropic initiative started by the founders of Personio. We are funded through a 1% equity share in Personio and driven by a commitment to help organizations grow by supporting their people.

HISTORY

Founded in 2021, the Personio Foundation was created ahead of Personio’s IPO to address urgent global challenges. Rooted in Personio’s values, the foundation reflects the founders’ belief that business success should drive social good, by supporting organizations that create lasting, positive impact for people and the planet.

SOURCE OF FUNDS

The Personio Foundation is funded through a long-term commitment of 1% of Personio’s equity, as well as $3 million in initial donations from the company’s founders, investors, and Personio itself. As a shareholder in Personio, the foundation operates independently and uses its resources to support high-impact organizations worldwide.
